Nazarbayev University, located in Astana, Kazakhstan, is a Western-style university created with the support of leading universities around the world. Our international partners include the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Duke University Fuqua School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, and LKY School of Public Policy of the National University of Singapore.
The School of Humanities and Social Science is seeking applicants who hold a Ph.D. in Economics or ABD for positions in Economics at all ranks in a wide range of fields. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to teaching undergraduate courses, conducting research, and providing departmental service. Benefits offered include an internationally competitive salary, medical benefits, housing, and travel. The University offers opportunities for research support.
Positions are open until filled. However, if you intend to have an interview scheduled during the annual AEA meeting in San Diego, CA (January 4-6, 2013), the deadline is December 3, 2012. Otherwise, you will be contacted for alternative arrangements if shortlisted.
The positions are scheduled to start in August 2013.
