We seek an econometrician to join our department as an assistant or associate professor. The successful candidate will be expected to pursue a research program in econometrics and publish in high-quality refereed journals. Faculty and students in our department conduct research on economic issues related to agriculture, the environment, natural resources, and international economic development. Thus, the ideal candidate would have a demonstrated applied interest in these topics or in a closely related field such as health economics, public economics, industrial organization, international trade, or finance. Teaching responsibilities include 2-3 quarter-length courses per year spread across our graduate and undergraduate programs. At the graduate level, the successful candidate will likely teach econometrics in the PhD core and elective sequences that we share with the Department of Economics.
