The Economics Department at Occidental College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning in August 2013. Occidental College is a national liberal arts college with a broadly diverse student body and faculty. Candidates must be committed to outstanding teaching and continuing scholarly activity. The successful candidate will teach five courses annually, possibly including introductory, intermediate, and/or upper-division courses. We encourage applications from strong candidates in international economics and/or economic development. For development economics, a regional interest in Asia or Latin America would be an asset. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Economics or expect to complete the degree requirements by August 2013.
