Applications are invited for a preliminary (tenure-track) appointment in one or both of the fields of environmental economics and empirical microeconomics at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning on July 1, 2013.
The position requires a completed Ph.D. (or expected in 2013), evidence of high-quality research, and good teaching potential.
Academic positions in Economics offer opportunities for interaction with excellent colleagues. (Our faculty have edited top field journals, have published recently in top general and field journals, and are involved in the NBER.) Naturally, such positions also offer opportunities for interaction with the students in our Ph.D. program. Capital location provides many advantages. Further information on the Department is available at www.carleton.ca/economics.
