The Department of Economics at l'Universite de Sherbrooke is currently inviting applications for one position at the assistant professor level (tenure track) or associate professor level (tenure or nontenure). Candidates at the assistant professor level should hold a Ph.D., or expect to complete one by August 2013, and demonstrate potential in research and teaching. Candidates at the associate professor level should hold a Ph.D. and have a strong publication and teaching record. Although special attention will be given to candidates specialized in development economics and econometrics, strong candidates in other fields are encouraged to apply. French being the language of instruction at l'Universite de Sherbrooke, fluency in this language is necessary. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.
