The Department of Economics has an opening at the rank of tenure-track assistant professor (subject to final budgetary approval). Field of specialization is open. Candidates should have, or expect to complete, a PhD in economics by July 1, 2013, and they must have an exceptional record of teaching and research. The successful candidate will conduct research, teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, mentor students, and perform service to the department, the University, and the profession.
