The Department of Economics invites applications to fill a full-time faculty position at the rank of assistant professor, starting in September 2013. While applications will be considered from all candidates with research and teaching interests in applied econometrics, including the application of both existing and new econometric techniques, preference will be given to those whose research emphasizes such applications in microeconomic fields, particularly, labor economics, public economics and industrial organization. Candidates should possess potential for significant research accomplishment and excellence in teaching, and should expect to receive their Ph.D. prior to the start of the appointment.
