Renmin University of China (RUC), located in Beijing, China, is a leading Chinese university in economics and finance. Hanqing Advanced Institute of Economics and Finance is founded in 2007 by RUC as a separate research institute that follows western practice. Our mission is to establish a world-class faculty with a strong focus on frontier research, high-quality graduate teaching and intensive international exchanges and cooperation.
Having received unprecedented support from the university, Hanqing plans to expand drastically in the coming few years. This year, we have openings for up to 6 positions. Ranks and fields are open. Junior candidates are expected to possess PhD by August 2013 and show evidence of promising research. Senior candidates must have an established research record.
Hanqing institute offers excellent research environment and support, competitive salary, research grant and housing subsidy. Hanqing Institute is an English-friendly environment. We welcome applicants of all nationalities. We will conduct interviews at the AEA annual meeting in San Diego.
