Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P. has an exciting opportunity available for a Legal Economic Analyst to join the Financial & Economic Consultants Department in its Minneapolis office. The Analyst is responsible for analyzing information and developing solutions in the following areas: Business Litigation, Antitrust, Intellectual Property, Insurance, Mass Tort, Medical Malpractice, and Personal Injury. In addition, the position requires producing written analytical reports explaining the procedures and methodologies employed.

Responsibilities include:
--Application of statistical and econometric methods to financial and economic data
--Analysis of markets and industry trends, company operations, and financial transactions
--Preliminary damages modeling
--Review and critique economic expert reports, memos, trial exhibits, and other presentation materials
--Document review
--Estimation of lost future earnings and medical costs
--Assessment and evaluation of damages models

Requirements include: PhD with emphasis in industrial organization and/or econometrics. Outstanding communication and presentation skills. Minimum two years of experience with SQL language and statistical software like Stata. Three or more years of experience as an economic consultant.
