The Finance and Economic departments of West Virginia University invite applications for a tenure track or tenured position at the senior assistant, associate or full level. We are seeking a scholar with an established record of excellence in research and teaching. The ideal candidate would be interested and able to teach doctoral classes in macroeconomics and financial economics, including asset pricing. A successful candidate will be expected to produce high-quality scholarship for leading journals in his/her field, to chair and serve on dissertation committees, and to teach undergraduate and graduate students. We are seeking applicants both from economics and from finance departments. The successful applicant will participate both in the Economics Ph.D. program as well as the Finance option of the new Ph.D. program in Business Administration.
