Economics: Tenure-track Assistant Professor to contribute to the central elements of the departmental and divisional mission by combining delivery of outstanding instruction with research publications in highly regarded journals and service to the institution. Require: Ph.D. in Economics (completed by December 2013 for appointment to second year); a commitment to excellence in teaching high quality courses in micro and/or macroeconomics at the undergraduate or graduate level; and the ability and desire to conduct research for publication in highly regarded refereed economics journals. Prefer: Candidates with interests in one or more of the following areas: international trade, international finance, time series analysis, development, public finance, and urban and regional economics.
