The Economics Department is seeking a tenure track faculty member at the assistant professor level beginning August, 2013. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a strong research program in applied microeconomics, provide excellent teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels and supervise graduate student research.
A strong background in microeconomic theory, with research that includes both the development of theoretical models and applications, and a Ph.D. in Economics at the beginning of the appointment are required. Preferred qualifications include demonstrated teaching excellence in microeconomics and evidence of research excellence in an applied field of microeconomics.
