The MTO project seeks a part-time (24 hours per week) research analyst to join the team conducting the long-term evaluation of MTO, a randomized housing mobility study sponsored by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. MTO provided families living in public housing within disadvantaged urban neighborhoods the chance to move to private-market housing in less distressed communities. For information about MTO research see http://www.mtoresearch.org. Position location is Cambridge, MA. NBER is the nation's leading nonpartisan nonprofit economic research organization.
Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include SAS and Stata programming and data preparation, management and analysis.
Qualifications:
A master's degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, or public policy or at least two years of technical experience. Strong SAS or Stata skills required.
Compensation:
Will depend on candidate's experience. Seven to 9 month position, grant-funded. Position is benefits-eligible.
