The Department of Economics and the School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Toronto St. George campus invite applications for a joint tenure-stream position in the Microeconomics of Public Policy at the rank of Assistant Professor. The appointment will be effective July 1, 2013.
The candidate must have evidence of excellence in research and teaching in an applied policy-oriented microeconomic field, and have earned a Ph.D. degree or equivalent by July 1, 2013 or soon thereafter. Duties include undergraduate and graduate teaching and research.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The successful applicant will hold a joint appointment between the Department of Economics (51%) and the School of Public Policy and Governance (49%).
