The Department of Economics at Metropolitan State University of Denver invites applications for one full-time tenure track position to begin August 2013. The preferred candidates will have strong teaching and research interests in at least one of these areas of specialization: Macroeconomics and Growth or Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics. In addition to teaching in their fields, candidates should be willing to teach classes at the introductory level and online; engage in professional development; and provide service to the department, school, university, and community. The normal teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester. The successful candidate must have the ability to work with and be sensitive to the educational needs of a diverse urban population. Candidates must have their PhD in Economics by August 15, 2013. MSU Denver is an EO/AA employer.
