The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor (Ph.D. in hand) or Instructor (ABD) level, beginning Fall 2013. Teaching experience is required. Teaching duties include macroeconomics at the intermediate level, economic principles, electives within the candidate's area of expertise (including, but not necessarily limited to, areas in macroeconomics), and participation in the College's general education program. We recommend candidates visit our website (http://www.fandm.edu/economics) for more information about our Department and our approach to teaching economics in a liberal arts environment. Candidates who can relate their research and/or teaching interests to a broad knowledge of the history of macroeconomic theory and historical and current policy disputes are strongly encouraged to apply.
