The Department of Economics at Swarthmore College seeks to fill a tenure-track position in environmental economics at the assistant or associate professor level beginning in Fall 2013. Candidates should be committed to excellence in both teaching and research. The position is in the Economics Department and includes a formal commitment to teach in and help guide the Environmental Studies Program. All areas of environmental economics are of interest; areas of particular interest include energy, environmental health, food and agriculture, and water. It is expected that the successful candidate will have the PhD in hand by the beginning of the appointment.
