The St. Olaf College Department of Economics announces a tenure-track position in accounting beginning fall 2013. A Ph.D. or DBA in accounting or related field, preferably from an AACSB accredited program, is preferred. ABDs will be considered if completion is expected within the first year. A CPA and related professional experience are highly desirable. The successful candidate has the opportunity to design and teach an intermediate accounting course that combines managerial accounting, systems, and optimization with significant use of Excel, team projects, and case studies.
