The University of Dubuque invites applications for a full-time faculty position in economics beginning August, 2013. Preferred qualifications include an earned doctorate (ABD with pending completion considered), teaching experience, and expertise in international trade and/or international policy. Responsibilities include teaching 24 credit hours per year, advising students, maintaining a scholarship agenda, and participating in the broader life of the University. Classes taught will include introductory courses in economics, undergraduate and MBA managerial economics, as well as international trade and/or policy classes. One of these classes is expected to involve a travel component. This position will help in the development of an economics major at the University.
