We invite tenure-track Assistant Professor applications for fall 2013. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in economics at the time of appointment. The Department seeks an excellent teacher with a commitment to students in and out of the classroom. The position carries a 3-3 teaching load that includes principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics and upper-level courses in the candidate’s field(s) of interest. Teaching interests would also ideally extend to the department’s Finance Major. The position will also include active scholarship and college service. Priority will be given to applications received by November 30, 2012.
