We seek candidates with strengths in macroeconomics and related fields (e.g. monetary economics, business cycles, growth and innovation, international macroeconomics).
Successful candidates will have published in leading journals and should have a record sufficient for receiving tenure in a highly-ranked international economics department.
Salaries are based on the German W-scheme, with supplementary allowances competitive with international salaries, contingent on academic achievements and teaching experience.
The University of Cologne is one of Germany's largest universities. The Faculty offers B.A., M.A. and Doctoral degrees. Courses can be taught either in English or German.
The qualifications required are a university and PhD degree and excellent academic achievements and teaching abilities.
