APPRISE ( is a nonprofit research institute dedicated to collecting and analyzing data and information to assess and improve public programs. APPRISE has a position available for a Project Director to design and manage evaluation research projects. Our research portfolio includes evaluation of services delivered to low-income households (financial assistance, education and counseling, and energy efficiency measures), market transformation programs (residential home performance, commercial and industrial programs, renewable energy), and other types of technical assistance. Job responsibilities include client contact, proposal development, research design, data analysis, project management, staff supervision, and report writing.

The ideal candidate would have an advanced degree in economics, policy, or another social science; at least five years of project management experience; excellent writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills; experience with data manipulation and statistical analysis with SAS or Stata; and an interest in social programs. We will also interview new Ph.D.'s who are interested in this career path.
