The Harris Graduate School of Public Policy Studies at the University of Chicago invites applications for a faculty position in Energy Economics. The position is open rank. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in economics or a closely related field and have a demonstrated scholarly interest in energy economics and policy. Junior applicants are encouraged to apply. Junior applicants must expect to complete their Ph.D. by July 31, 2013.
The ideal candidate will desire to be an active participant in the work of the Energy Policy Institute at Chicago and in the University's engagement in scholarly questions around energy in China through the University of Chicago Center in Beijing.
Junior applicants are required to submit a C.V., two letters of recommendation (three preferred) and one writing sample. Senior applicants are required to submit a C.V. and two sample publications.
