The Institute of Economics, Academia Sinica, Taiwan is seeking to fill several research positions beginning August 2013. Qualified candidates in all fields and at all ranks will be considered. Junior candidates should demonstrate evidence of research promise and have a Ph.D. by July 2013. Candidates for senior positions should have a Ph.D. and excellent research records.
Academia Sinica is the highest academic institution in Taiwan and has been devoted to promoting excellence in academic research. The Institute of Economics offers great research facilities and support, including strong incentives to encourage publications in leading economic journals and paid leave for research and study abroad. Its research staff enjoys complete academic freedom, can pursue academic research fulltime, and has no teaching obligations.
