The Department of Economics and Finance seeks to fill two full-time, tenure-track positions in economics at the assistant, associate, or full professor rank in macroeconomics (JEL Code E), public economics (JEL Code H), international economics (JEL Code F), or one of the following applied microeconomic areas: health, education, and welfare (I), labor and demographic economics (J), industrial organization (L), or urban, rural and regional economics (R).
Positions start August 1, 2013. Applicant screenings will be conducted at the ASSA meetings in San Diego.
The appointees are expected to engage in high quality research and to be effective classroom teachers at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Responsibilities will likely also include serving on Ph.D. dissertation committees.
