The Department of Economics in Dedman College at SMU is seeking applications and nominations to fill the Robert H. and Nancy Dedman Endowed Chair effective Fall 2013. Position No. 00050799. In addition to a Ph.D. in economics, the candidate should have an outstanding record of scholarly publications in prestigious economics journals, proven leadership in directing Ph.D. dissertations in the candidate's field of expertise, and a record of excellence in teaching and involvement in university and departmental affairs. The search is open to senior economists (Associate or Full Professor level) in any field. The appointment comes with tenure.
