Assistant Professor - International and/or the Comparative Political Economy of Development
We are seeking to fill a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in the International and/or the Comparative Political Economy of Development to start September 2013. We are particularly interested in applicants from economics, political science, sociology and geography with specialization in some or all of the following sub-fields: North-South IPE; trade and development; regional integration; economic growth and development; relations of developing countries with multilateral institutions. Regional specialization is open, but Africanists are particularly encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates should have research and teaching interests in the areas specified and be able to contribute to our undergraduate and graduate programs.
Interested applicants should submit a letter of interest, CV, writing sample (or publication), a research statement, teaching statement, sample syllabi, and teaching evaluations (if available) to the University of Denver's on-line application system: www.dujobs.org
In addition, candidates should arrange to have three letters of reference sent to: Janet Roll, Executive Assistant, Josef Korbel School of International Studies, University of Denver, Ben M.
