The Department of Economics at Vanderbilt University invites applications for a tenured or tenure-track position in Health Economics starting in the 2012-13 academic year. We encourage candidates at the level of associate or full professor who would take a leading role in the development of a new Health Economics program for doctoral students as part of a joint initiative with the Robert Wood Johnson Center for Health Policy at Meharry Medical College. Such candidates are expected to have a strong publication record in leading health economics journals. We may also consider applications at the assistant professor level. Vanderbilt stresses excellence in teaching and research in its doctoral, masters, and undergraduate programs.
Review of applications will begin immediately. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled or April 15, 2013, whichever comes first. Vanderbilt University is an equal opportunity-affirmative action employer and encourages applications from women and minority scholars.
