The Senior Manager's primary responsibilities are to direct and oversee the market planning function for NEEA. As an integral part of the research, planning and evaluation division, the group is charged with effectively managing the development and implementation of NEEA's quantitative analysis and reporting of the costs and benefits function. This includes the development and maintenance of analytical models of the cost effectiveness of both individual programs as well as NEEA activities in total. This also includes forecasting, tracking, analysis, and reporting of total energy savings from NEEA activities. The group is also directly responsible for portfolio and initiative policy development and oversight.
This position functions primarily as a first-line supervisor, ensuring that subordinate staff have clear work direction and guidance. The incumbent is responsible to carry out the full spectrum of supervisory responsibilities in accordance with NEEA's policies and applicable laws.
Requires a minimum of ten years of directly transferable professional experience. Planning experience in an energy, utility, or regulatory environment a plus as is knowledge/experience with energy efficiency. Master's degree economics, finance, or business required.
