The Harris Graduate School of Public Policy Studies at the University of Chicago invites applications for a junior faculty position as part of the Harris School's Urban Initiative. The School will consider applicants from any discipline whose research focuses on some aspect of urban policy or urban studies. Junior applicants must expect to have completed their Ph.D. by July 2013 and demonstrate strong promise for a scholarly career. Junior applicants are required to submit a C.V., two letters of recommendation (three preferred), and one writing sample on line at http://tinyurl.com/8kmghqs. The letters of recommendation may be sent electronically to Cynthia Cook Conley, c-cook@uchicago.edu. Review of applications will begin Oct 1, 2012. Screening of applications will continue until the position is filled. No applications will be accepted after June 30, 2013.
