Moody’s Analytics located in West Chester, PA, is a leading independent provider of economic, financial, country, and industry research designed to meet the diverse planning and information needs of businesses, governments, and professional investors worldwide. An Economist, Project Manager, is responsible for managing credit analytics consulting projects, ultimately ensuring client satisfaction with the Credit Cycle and other econometric modeling solutions through successful utilization of the team’s resources and availability.

Responsibilities include: the full implementation of credit analytics consulting projects including project management, client relations, delivery, installation, training and documentation; manage client expectations to ensure that the project scope remains within the agreed upon Statement of Work; identify relevant resources to implement project and manager internal resources to ensure timeliness and quality; confirm function and technical scope of the project; document project requirements and communicate project status to senior management; facilitate client workshops and training sessions; and work with IT development group to ensure client needs are represented in the development of the user interface.

The qualified candidate will have an undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g. Bachelor’s degree) required, preferably in economics or business; graduate/second-level degree (e.g. Master’s/MBA) degree preferred, with 1 to 4 years experience in client services. Job requires functional understanding of economic analysis and loss forecasting for the banking and consumer lending industries; team player and ability to interact with people of all levels in a multi-culture environment; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and some travel to client sites.
