The Economics Department of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for a tenure track or tenured position at the associate or full professor level in the field of applied microeconomics. The person must have a research interest in population-related fields such as labor, health, education, and/or family economics, and will have an opportunity to be a fellow of the Carolina Population Center. The successful applicant must have a substantial publication record in highly ranked economics journals and provide evidence of effective teaching and mentorship of graduate students.
