The Global Policy and Advocacy (GPA) Program seeks to understand and shape the public policy debates affecting the Foundation's work, build support for its major program and policy objectives, and develop partnerships and alliances that can advance the Foundation's policy objectives nationally and globally.

Responsibilities:
The SPO for Development Policy & Finance will be a key member of the Policy, Analysis and Finance team within GPA and will serve in a leading intellectual and implementation role in the formulation of Foundation policy positions on critical issues in aid and development finance. The SPO will be the in-house expert in this area and will be responsible for creating and circulating content and serving as a trusted advisor for policy positions in this arena. In addition, the SPO will develop and manage a portfolio of grants focused on improving the quality and quantity of financing for international development. This person will be closely connected with team members in the Policy, Analysis and Finance team as well as the wider GPA, Global Programs divisions and all levels of senior leadership.
