Meiji Gakuin University is looking for a full-time (tenured) professor for the Department of International Studies.
Teaching Responsibilities: Modern Japanese Economy (taught in Japanese). The candidate is also expected to take charge of a number of other lecture, e.g., Modern Japanese Economy related (taught in English), and seminar courses.
Academic Specialty: Specialist in a field of Modern Japanese Economy.
Position and Rank: One full-time (tenured) position, open rank: Professor, Associate Professor or Assistant Professor.
Qualifications: The candidate is required to have a Ph.D. In exceptional cases, a candidate without a Ph.D. may also be considered if the applicant has an equivalent level of knowledge and has demonstrated research and professional experience.
Interview. Shortlisted candidates may be asked to give a demonstration class.
This university is founded on christian principles. Your knowledge of these principles will be highly appreciated.
