Yonsei University Wonju Campus' EastAsia International College (http://eic.yonsei.ac.kr) invites applications for one tenure- or non-tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor. Applicants with expertise in East Asian politics or economies are welcome. The position begins in March 2013.
Minimum qualifications: Preference will be given to international candidates with a Ph.D. in political science or economics, who have demonstrated teaching skills and ability to produce scholarly research. (If the candidate is currently an ADB, he/she has to acquire the Ph.D. by February 2013.)
Duties and responsibilities: two or three undergraduate courses per semester, participation in major EIC events, and advising student.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experiences.
Employment period: The promotion and the tenure evaluation of a tenure-track faculty follow the faculty regulation of Yonsei University. The contract term for a non-tenure track faculty is up to six years, during which one is subject to faculty evaluation every two years.
