Deloitte is looking for Applied Econometricians and/or Quantitative Analyst to evaluate various impacts of public policy for our client.
This position is located on client site in Clarksburg, West Virginia
Required Skills:
Top Secret Clearance(required)
Degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field
2-6 years of experience
Ability to conduct multiple regression analysis using Ordinary Least Squares to establish baseline models
Demonstrated experience with data modeling to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences
Strong data collection skills
Demonstrated ability to structure and perform financial consulting projects, manage client expectations and relationships, and participate in client presentations
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Desired Skills
Experience training internal and external clients in both basic and advanced econometrics and statistics
Experience with statistical software such as SAS, STATA, Eviews, etc.
Experience using Panel Data models, such as Random and Fixed Effects Models, to investigate the influence of exogenous events on policy variables
Time Series Econometric Analysis such as VARs, ARIMAs, etc.
Experience in Time Series Forecasting System
Ability to collect data and find explanatory variables for regression models, using economic theory, historical evidence, and the subject matter expertise of our clients
Ability to develop models and produce written and graphical reports
