Manchester Business School is looking to make a faculty appointment at the Lecturer or Senior Lecturer rank in the area of public economics, with emphasis on infrastructure finance, intergovernmental fiscal policy, regulation and/or economic development finance.
The successful applicant for appointment as a Senior Lecturer (associate professor) will have an outstanding record of research, research supervision, and teaching in a relevant area of applied economics.
For an appointment at the Lecturer (assistant professor) level, tangible evidence of emerging outstanding research and teaching is required.
It is expected the appointee will contribute to the interdisciplinary research of the Centre for Infrastructure Development. Additional collaborative opportunities exist across the business school and university, including with the Department of Economics. Ability to offer high-quality teaching is expected, with opportunities at the BSc, MSc, MBA, PhD and executive education levels. An attractive salary and support package will be constructed for the right applicant.
