The Department of Economics invites applications for one tenured faculty position available in April, 2013 at the rank of Associate Professor or Lecturer (equivalent of Assistant Professor in North America). For appointment, applicants must have completed their Ph. D. (or very close to completion) or have accomplished equivalent academic works. They must also demonstrate promise of excellence in research and teaching in applied microeconomics. Teaching duties include undergraduate industrial organization, applied microeconomics, and graduate course(s) of their expertise. Candidates are expected to have good commands of Japanese which is our means of instruction. The official announcement of the faculty position is posted at
