IMPAQ International, a rapidly growing and dynamic social sciences/economic research firm, seeks to make several hires immediately at the following levels:

- Senior Research Associate (4+ years of relevant experience with Ph.D./8+ years of relevant experience with Master's degree), and

- Research Associate (Ph.D. or 5+ years of relevant experience with Master's degree).

IMPAQ International provides high-quality research, evaluation services, policy analysis, and technical assistance services in areas of labor, health, poverty, nutrition, and education. Domestically, IMPAQ conducts projects for U.S. government agencies, including the U.S. Departments of: Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, Agriculture, and Housing and Urban Development. Internationally, IMPAQ implements projects for the World Bank, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, and U.S. Agency for International Development, and foreign government agencies. IMPAQ's mission is to provide exemplary research and consulting services to its domestic and international clients.

Required Qualifications:

- Ph.D. (or other advanced degree) in economics, public policy, or a related social science field;

- Possessing subject matter expertise or content knowledge in relevant policy areas is a plus;

- Strong quantitative and/or qualitative skills;

- Training in econometrics, applied microeconomics, or public economics is a plus;

- Experience in leading proposals and preparing reports a plus;

- Experience in process analysis, evaluation, and experimental research design activities a plus;

- Ability to think strategically about research issues and programs;

- Ability to work independently and in a team;

- Ability to communicate complex technical material to academic and non-academic audiences; and

- Strong oral communication and writing skills.
