The School of Economic Sciences at Washington State University is soliciting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track academic year (nine month) position at the Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor level. Initial appointment will be August 16, 2012 to May 15, 2013. Following a successful first year review, there is an expectation for a re-appointment to a three-year rolling horizon renewable appointment contingent upon successful annual performance reviews and availability of funds. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
This will be primarily a teaching position, with a minimum teaching load equivalent to six courses per academic year. We seek candidates with evidence of outstanding teaching and commitment to student success. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching large classes. Experience with on-line course development and instruction is desired but not required. All fields in economics will be considered.
Minimum qualifications are a PhD ABD in Economics, Agricultural Economics, or closely related field and teaching experience at the undergraduate level. A completed PhD is strongly preferred.
