The Department of Health Management and Policy at the Drexel University School of Public Health seeks a mid-level or senior health economist to expand its program in health policy.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess:
- Ph.D., Dr.P.H. or other doctoral-level degree
- At least five years of academic experience at the assistant professor level or higher
- Successful track record in teaching and supervising doctoral students
- Record of peer-reviewed publications
- Strong extramural research funding record
- Evidence of translation of research to health policy and practice
Essential Functions: This faculty member will teach master's and doctoral students, and help to shape the doctoral program in Health Policy and Social Justice. This faculty member will develop research programs in comparative effectiveness and health policy.
The position is a tenured or tenure-track and is available starting in the fall of 2012 or January 2013.
