Applications are sought from suitably qualified candidates with exceptional research profiles in any area of Applied Economics.
The Department of Management was ranked joint fifth in the UK in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise. We have over 50 academic staff including a team of 6 Economists which will soon be boosted by the addition of 2 new Professors in Economics.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Economics both in terms of teaching and research within a growing department.
For appointment at Professorial level you will need to demonstrate an international reputation for research within the Economics discipline and extensive experience in research led teaching and supervision. You will need to demonstrate experience in providing academic and research leadership and a proven ability to attract external research funding.
These posts are indefinite and appointments will be made at Professorial level, dependent on relevant qualifications, within the Professorial Grade.
