CHAIR IN ECONOMICS - Department of Economics/Melbourne Institute, Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Melbourne, Australia
Salary: Attractive remuneration package negotiable + 17% superannuation
Joint position located in the Department of Economics and the Melbourne Institute for Applied Economic and Social Research (Melbourne Institute).
The Chair will play a leadership role within both units supporting objectives in teaching, research and knowledge transfer by engaging in research in his/her discipline and publishing in leading international journals, by teaching and administering international quality undergraduate and graduate subjects and by making a significant contribution to collegial and intellectual life as well as externally within the discipline.
You will be expected to have the capacity and willingness to participate in public discussion and debate about important national and international issues, and be active in the seeking of research funding from government and business sectors.
Employment Type: Full-time (continuing) position.
