The Department of Economics at the University of Cincinnati seeks applications for an entry-level, one-year, visiting assistant professor position for the 2012-2013 academic year. The starting date for the appointment is August 15, 2012. ABD is required, PhD is preferred. The successful candidates may be responsible for teaching 3 courses per semester, including introductory and intermediate economics, mathematical economics, and game theory at the undergraduate level and some courses at the graduate level. Teaching in the candidate's field of research may be possible, if consistent with departmental needs. Evidence of strong teaching ability is essential.
