The Aix Marseille School of Economics (AMSE, http://www.amse-aixmarseille.fr/en ) is seeking to recruit a full professor in Environmental Economics for appointment in September 2013.
The Aix Marseille School of Economics is part of Aix Marseille University. It groups three research centres in the area of Aix-en-Provence and Marseille - Greqam, Defi and Inserm SE4S- and ranks amongst the top French departments in Economics. The School provides a high quality research environment and has ample research facilities. Knowledge of French is NOT required.
All areas of Environmental Economics will be considered, although the School has a particular interest in multidisciplinary research. In addition to collaborating with economists at AMSE, the new professor will be invited to interact with researchers at CEREGE (http://www.cerege.fr/?lang=en), a leading research center in Environmental Geosciences. The team at CEREGE has explored, from an interdisciplinary perspective, various aspects related to past climate changes and their impacts on tectonics, soil and pollution. This research will be supported by the recently awarded interdisciplinary research project Destination Earth-Mediterranean Basin (for more details see the website http://www.eccorev.fr/spip.php?article269 ).
