The University of Minnesota, Morris (UMM) announces a one-year temporary position in Economics, beginning August, 2012. UMM is a residential public liberal arts college serving over 1900 students. As one of the five campuses of the University of Minnesota, UMM is located 160 miles west of Minneapolis in a rural setting. The annual teaching load is 6 courses. Specific teaching responsibilities include Principles of Microeconomics (x2), Principles of Macroeconomics, Introduction to Game Theory, and two additional undergraduate elective courses - preferably one of which is appropriate for Management majors. A.B.D. in Economics (or related field), and evidence of teaching effectiveness required, Ph.D. preferred.
