The Office of International Education at the University at Buffalo (UB) invites applications for instructors to teach Economics courses in the UB undergraduate program at the Singapore Institute of Management in Singapore.
The position may consist of teaching from one to three courses per semester in Fall 2012 and/or in following semesters. Available courses may include those in the areas of Econometrics, Money and Banking, International Finance, International Economics, and Capital Markets and Financial Institutions. Position salary will depend on qualifications as well as number of courses supported. Employment may be for one semester or for multiple semesters.
A Master's degree in Economics or closely related field and experience teaching undergraduate students in a US college or university are required, as is experience teaching in an intercultural context.
A PhD degree in Economics or closely related field is preferred, as is additional teaching experience. Experience living and teaching in an overseas environment, especially an Asian environment, are a plus.
