This diverse program includes concentrations in public finance, policy analysis, public and nonprofit management, international development, environmental and natural resource management, and energy policy, among other concentrations.
The Director, who will report to the SPEA Executive Associate Dean for Bloomington, will oversee marketing, student recruitment, curriculum, course scheduling, student financial aid, degree requirements, accreditation, and graduation ceremonies. The director will also collaborate with the SPEA Career Services Office on internships and placements, the Communications and Marketing Office on branding, and with other units of the University on joint-degree programs. The successful candidate for this position will also be expected to maintain teaching and service comparable to other non-tenure track faculty with administrative positions within the school. Qualified candidates must have an established record of excellence in service and teaching (preferably at the graduate level). The Director will be a key member of our graduate program staff and will have responsibilities that extend beyond the 10-month academic year.
