The Center for Economic Studies (CEE) of El Colegio de Mexico is inviting applications for a postdoctoral position in economics.
Applicants are expected to show outstanding commitment to research and must have obtained a PhD when taking up the position in August 2012. The position is for one year, with the possibility of extending it for a second year subject to an evaluation and availability of funds. The net salary is equivalent to 18,000 US$ per annum.
All fields of Economics and Econometrics will be considered, although El Colegio de Mexico has a particular interest in candidates working with a focus on developing countries. The Center has two graduate programs in economics (Master and PhD levels). Knowledge of Spanish will be considered a plus.
