The Faculty of Business and Economics at the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) has an open position for a full time assistant professor (tenure track) of International Economics.
The selected candidate will do research in the field of macroeconomics (with applications in international economics) and will be responsible for initiating and directing research projects in this field. He/she is expected to supervise master papers and doctoral dissertations.
He/she will be responsible for teaching (under)graduate courses in the fields of international/macroeconomics i.e., international macroeconomics, international monetary economics and/or international trade.
Applicants must have a PhD in economics. They should have some teaching experience and an excellent research record in the field of international macroeconomics. Publications in internationally reviewed journals can provide evidence for this. This position will become permanent after a positive five year probationary period (tenure track) leading to the rank of associate professor.
